There was a version of this Mod for YaBB 1, I haven't been able to get in contact with the original author(s) but Michael Prager has told me it is okay to release my version of it.
I believe the original author was Godai, and it was also updated by rehlbe and mats.
Batchman requested an update of this Mod.

Thanks to pyragony for the German and German_Du translations.

History:
1.0 - By Derek Barnstorm - 6th December 2008
1.1 - Updated for YaBB 2.4 - 14th April 2009

Just upgraded to 2.4 and put this mod back on but all my Custom titles have gone. I have checked a few .vars files and the fields are empty..

Code:
'cutitle',""
'cutitlecol',""

How can they be empty from upgrading. I did the "Upgrade" from 2.3.1 to 2.4.
Bit strange. Would doing a "Convert" for the profile fields empty the cu titles ?

Mmm... I just tried it by dragging the members .vars directly across to a new forum and they show up fine. So yeah, I guess it must be something to do with converting the profile fields, I hadn't tried that. I'm really not too sure what to suggest though without copying the members manually from your old forum to the new one...

I've never used the built in upgrade though, so I'm afraid I'm not that experienced with how it affects things... Maybe somebody else knows more about this?

I'm not too sure I'm afraid, sorry...

Just looking through the .var files in my backup and the cutitles are correct so it must have been doing the convert for the extra profile fields.

Gonna make another backup and then try copying the all the .var files across. See if that works.

Cheers.

The only time you need to use Convert is when importing data from old versions prior to 2.1.  For 2.1 and later, any board, member, messages data you can simply copy to the new version.
