1) Modify YaBB files using BoardMod or manually.
2) Load modified files to your server in ASCII mode.

Sources/MessageIndex.pl (ASCII)
Sources/SubList.pl (ASCII)

Upload files from Zip Package.
Languages/yourlanguage/WhoPost.lng (ASCII)
Sources/WhoPost.pl (ASCII)

I installed this mod with gzip compression enabled and the resulting popup displayed binary data. With gzip off, all works well. Not sure if I'm missing a dependency but from looking at the code I think it would've given me an error. Is anyone else seeing this?

Right because your issue was WhoPost.pl from 2.3 add to 2.3.1 version. Did you upload right file for this? Nobody have this issue, because I had test it before release it. Otherwise I have never release this mod if not working.

Are you sure you used the right WhoPost.pl???

There are two in the zip. You need the file of the WhoPosted_v1_3-yabb231 folder.
