Downloed Advanced Log Analyis Mod 1.0

This mod nakes a more informative forum log analysis. You see the forum log analysis if you follow the link "View forum access log" in your admin center.

The mods makes following changes

- sort the IP's by number
- display names in IP list, instead of login names
- link to profiles in IP list
- better recognition of browsers
- recognition of robots
- sort the browsers by number
- links to browsers
- better recognition of operating system
- sort the operating system by number
- the list of visited pages is substituted by lists of top boards, top threads, and top profiles
- sort the referring pages by number
- hard coded text moved to english.lng

Installation:

1. Upload the file ShowClick.pl to your source direction.
2. apply the mod

The sub ShowClicksLog of Admin.pl is moved to ShowClick.pl to make it easier to update this mod, if new browsers, robots, or operating system are supported.
You will have then only to make a new upload of ShowClick.pl and no deinstalltion of the former mod version is necessary.

I wait for your comments In particular I'm interested to know which kind of lists you would like to get better informations about what the user have done.

WooooooooooooooooooooW sweet, what Mods did you test this on ??? I just want to make sure so i can try it my self with out having to mess up my board....

How did you get your's to show the top threads and top forums?

I have it installed, but it is not showing that.

Perhaps it has to run for a while to capture that data?

Looks good. Could do with a bit of clearing up. Maybe making the page two columned. More info in 1/2 the space ???


@ Prisoner - For Top Threads etc try the mod of the same name - shows them on your boardinex page. 8)

the mod only changes the routine ShowClicks in Admin.pl  to a routine in an own file. This routine makes not other then to show what in the log file is. So you can get only problems if you

(1) have another ShowClicks.pl in your source directory
(2) have another mod which changes something in the routine ShowClicks of Admin.pl. I don't know such a mod. You can recognize this case, because your boardmod would tell you that it can't make the changes in Admin.pl.
(3) If you have a mod which changes the file format of the file clicklog.txt. I don't know such a mod. Because the mod makes no changes in any file you could undo the mod in that case and you would have the old status.

Now about the lists,

if you see the called pages list but not the three lists, you haven't the last mod actualization. There was a suggestion to make these lists, and therefore I have added these lists.

Upload ShowClicks.pl from the first list again and make sure that all changes in english.lng are made.

I downloaded what was posted yesterday, that is why it wasn't working.

I redownloaded your mod and the ShowClick.pl is showing at 22k instead of 18k.
