Description: This Mod adds a template tag <yabb metatags> which adds board specific metatag keywords. You can change them in your Admin Center with Edit Boards.
Installation:
- Apply Mod
- upload english.txt, Subs.pl, and ManageBoards.pl to their directories.
- Include in your template the <yabb metatags> for example
<meta name="KEYWORDS" content="<yabb metatags> keyword1, keyword2, keyword3">
where keyword1, keyword2, keyword3 are keywords of the whole board and <yabb metatags> makes board specific tags.

Description: There were questions for a member of the day mod. Here it is.
Installation:
- Apply mod and upload the files
- Change your template
- Call BoardIndex of your board (to initialize the first member of the day)
Template tags:
<yabb dayusername> gives the user name of the member of the day
<yabb dayname> gives the display name of the user of the day
<yabb daylink> gives the image www.gif linked to the homepage of the member of the day. If this member has no homepage this tag is empty.
<yabb daylink> gives the display name of the member of the day linked to the homepage of the member of the day. If this member has no homepage it displays only his display name
<yabb dayprofile> gives the image profile.gif linked to the profile of the member of the day
<yabb dayprofile2> gives the display name of the member of the day linked to the profile of the member of the day
<yabb dayavatar> gives the avatar of the member of the day
You can uses these tags for other thinks.
Example 1: You will link the avatar to the profile. Write in your template
<a href="http://www.yourboard.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.cgi?board=;action=viewprofile;username=<yabb dayusername>"><yabb dayavatar></a>
Example 2: You will link to the most recent post of the member of the day. Write in your template:
<a href="http://www.yourboard.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.cgi?board=;action=usersrecentposts;username=<yabb dayusername>">Most recent post of <yabb dayname></a>
Settings:
- you can change in the admin area "forum preferences and settings" the minimum number of posts which are necessaary to get member of the day. This number should not be to big (with respect to board speed at least 25 % of your members should fulfill this condition). It is used beginning with the next day.
Working method:
If the first time on a day BoardIndex is called the member of the day will be changed
Known problems:
- If the member of the day changes his settings or deletes his account, the member of the day tags will not be changed. |

Changes in v0.2 (30/09/2002)
- Fixed error with bad saving settings
- Now all uploaded avatars pics saved with name of uploaded them user.
Thanks to Dave Baughman for help in bug hunting and ideas ;o)
About mod:
Allow users to upload avatar pics to forum.
Admins can set limits on size and dimensions of uploaded pics.
Admins can permit or deny to upload pics.
Pics can be in gif, jpg and png formats.
Pics are uploaded in a special subdirectory created in avatars directory and can be used only by user who uploaded them. After uploading a new picture the old one is erased.
Installing:
Uninstal previously installed versions of this mod.
After setting this mod an admin needs to configure its properties in "Admin/Forum Preferences and Settings" section.
