Would someone, Please simplify the finding of the correct or latest version of MODs.
  For example  "RSS" MOD.
        Post 1  RSS_FEED_for_YABB2_b3.zip
        Post 30      "          "        "   b2.zip
        Post 33      "          "        "   b4.zip
        Post 78      "          "        "   b5.zip
        Post 83      "          "        "   b5
        Post 102    "          b6.zip
        Post 140    "          b6
        Post 146    "          B7.zip
All above are downloadedable....
        Media Center                         Post 1
Media Center w/Quick_Rely Fix Post 165

These are just the ones I noticed... Makes it hard for a Newbie to know which to download....

Please just take this as a suggestion ...

I've updated the first post for the rss and the media center mod.

I didn't change your Jet Li, since you said that you'll update it yourself. And the Sticky Shimmy Shuffle mod has a note and a link in the first post to the current version already.

If you find any other mods, let me know Wink

sort of found another ....
EventCal_Y2 the zip is at the top of the topic, but a fix for EventCal.pl is in a zip on Post 261

Also... a MOD for the MOD is downloadable on Post 154

Michael .... Also on Extended Profile MOD ... I see Jet Li provided an updated German Language for 2.2 on Post 373 ... but No acknowledgement, that the Zip was updated.  Still able to download file there.

Both mods are updated now. I won't include mods for mods though. I leave that to the mod author.

I think the rule of thumb was to attach the most recent version of a mod to the first message.

Due to some troubles with the room for file attachments and Michaels more then busy life we were sometimes forced to place mods elsewhere on the net and link to that file.

But I think having this thread will make modwriters aware again of this unwritten rule Wink

Actually the most recent version of a FINAL mod should be searched for in the mod database, however I think Michael is somewhat behind in moving mods from the thread to the database and linking them Wink

Nothing to add here Smiley

Found another ...

QuickReply Box

The First post is Ver. ,o5e

But fixed in Reply #177

Michael .... Seems to be an on going thing, when a MODder will stop or even abandon a MOD, then others will try to fix, due to interest ... then not be able to reference from the first post.
e.g. ShoutBox MOD, abandoned (released as Open Source) and 3 posts of fixes, but No update to first page post or installation zip.
