Hi,
I seem to have a bug, the Mod works very well but if I press the Delete button within a post (see attachment) the post above the one I intended to delete gets deleted instead. This only happens on threads with an Embeded Media Player window present. I am seeing this on a clean (CPanel Installed) test forum as well as my main board. Both are 2.1

As a work around; I can tick the box next to the delete button in an unwanted post and delete it with the 'Delete Selected' button at the bottom of the thread.

Can anybody else see this?

Apart form this it's a great mod, cheers.

P.S. I'm seeing the same problem in the version of 2.2 I downloaded from http://www.spikecity.net/hourly/ a few days ago.

Sounds like pure coincidence to me as the mod code doesn't even come close to any of the delete code.
Actually I don't think there are any code changes done by the mod to Display.pl (the part where you showed the screenshot from).

I'm also seeing it at: http://www.yabbforum.com/community/YaBB.pl?num=1176209631/0

If you make some posts yourself, and number them (1, 2, 3, 4 etc.) Then delete the post with 4 in it.. ...... it's your post 3 that gets deleted instead.  This is what I'm seeing, anyway.   ???

Hi, first of all thanks for this absolutely amazing mod!

I seem to have a problem with the set up,...i have followed the instructions step by step and installed the latest version of this mod but it doesn't seem to work. In the admin center it appears as installed and working.

Can someone look into it please? i'll be extremely grateful. My board is www.sinfomusic.es

THanks.

I have noticed, that as Jet Li notes, ubbc.js can be edited,
but Installation  within MOD states:
Apply the mod, upload the changed YaBBC.pl and Post.pl.
Upload the changed ubbc.js in /yabbfiles/Templates
Upload MediaCenter.pl in /Sources and chmod it equal to the other pl's

I presume it should say replace (overwrite)ubbc,js in public_html/yabbfiles ???

I have done everything said, or so I assume, but 2 problems come about.

1) It doesn't show up in the admin center as an installed mod. It simple says no mods have been installed.

2) While the function (media instead of flash tags) shows up on the message board, the media button does not. And when I hover over the button, it says "insert flash."

What have I done wrong, or how can I fix this?

First read the FAQ in the menu on top of this website.
You need the programme BoardMod and the .mod file from the zip.
You need a local copy of the cgi-bin part of your forum.
Then you use the programme to apply the .mod file to the local copy (which changes the mentioned files you miss)
After the mod is applied you upload the changed files from you local copy to your site, overwriting the older ones.

(you might want to backup de cgi-bin part from your site first)

Any other mods installed ?
If the mod fails try to do a manual install as explained in the FAQ.

Can I restrict who is allowed to post media.  I am starting a sports site and I want to have video for the members, but I want to be the only person uploading video for members to view and discuss in the thread.

Not in the mod, this is however standard in the next release of YaBB called 2.2
