Well... whaddayaknow?  Seems stable now after that change.  Had to remove that string twice from chatboard.pl and now it's not closing the door on me.

Very good.  I'll bet this is a welcomed message, huh?

All the basic YaBB message codes seem to be working within the chat board.  Obviously, there are some enhancements I would love to see.  White is so blindingly bright for my board, for instance.  Changing the color scheme would help it fit in better and keep everyone's eyesight intact.

Some things you might consider - when someone uses the 'x' at the top right corner of the screen, it doesn't say they have logged out, although they have.  Also, you have to look into the thread or open the chat to know if anyone has logged on.  Do you think there might be a way to annotate who was on without having to read the thread or opening the chat board?

After chatting for a while, I noticed that it takes longer and longer to jump between windows... until finally my browser hung up and stopped working.  I had to kill the process and restart.

Do you think if we made ChatSys the board moderator we could set a limit on how many messages are there?  It may be a bit taxing on some browsers and systems to download all of those messages every time someone posts another.

ChatSys could follow up behind the scenes and delete  the first message if the total equals a limit.  What do you think?

After the crash, I reopened the window and it seems to be working normally again.  So it seems like whatever is wrong is affecting the browser cache... but I'm guessing.

Feel free to experiement for yourself, MrMage.

A feature to delete the last messages would be good. Or I will add a feature which adds only new posts instead of reloading all.

That might be cool.  Others were complaining about the same thing I experienced.  The chatboard window started getting sluggish, taking a long time to post, even longer to jump between windows.
