OK, now I get it, you're replying to Possum's post...  Grin

Sorry, didn't understand that... I thought you were replying to Eagle and me...   :uhoh:

One small tip: If you are replying to something *before* the last message(s) you should either use the quote function, or put the poster's name in front, that makes it easier to understand you're replying to an older post...    :wink3:

Yep, in the admin panel, Forum Preferences and Settings, in the registration section (should be under 'Send welcome e-mail to users when you do not have mail password turned on?' and above 'Location of Sendmail Program')

HTH!

(BTW: Like the Avatar pic! *rofl*)

Aha, there it is.  I really had to look for it.  Too bad for me my host doesn't have htpassword installed.  I sent a trouble ticket asking for it so we'll see how it goes.  Can this do .htaccess?

Can I make a suggestion?  It would be really cool if you could set different subdirectories protected based on member groups. That would be amazing!

Well, .htaccess is what tells the server to look at .htpasswd in the first place. You'll have to build that one manually, telling the server where to find the .htpasswd file

Like I said in the announcement (1st message) .htgroups is one of the planned updates to this mod, however due to RL interfering I do not have time to do any coding at this time.  Sad

(Other planned updates: A rebuild .htpasswd option to clean up and make up to date the .htpasswd file and EMARO mod support so accounts do not get added before the user is approved)
